삼성 S1, 엔지아커넥트 본사 방문 - TVWS 무선 통신 솔루션 데모 및 협력 논의 [Samsung S1 Representatives Visit NZIA Connect Headquarters for TVWS Wireless Communication Solutions]

삼성 S1의 권영우 그룹장을 비롯한 관계자들이 ㈜엔지아커넥트 본사를 방문하여 TV 화이트 스페이스(TVWS) 무선 통신 솔루션의 시연을 진행하고, 향후 양사 간 상호 협력 방안에 대해 논의했습니다.

방문 중 S1 관계자들은 3km 이상 거리에서도 FHD 고품질 영상을 안정적으로 전송할 수 있는 TVWS 기술을 직접 확인하며 깊은 감명을 받았습니다. 이후 S1 인재개발원에 TVWS 솔루션을 설치하고, 이를 바탕으로 Proof of Concept(POC)을 수행하기로 합의했습니다.

이번 협력은 양사가 무선 통신 기술 혁신을 강화하고 상호 발전을 도모할 수 있는 중요한 계기가 될 것으로 기대됩니다.

A delegation from Samsung S1, led by Group Leader Kwon Young-woo, visited NZIA Connect headquarters to witness a demonstration of the TV White Space (TVWS) wireless communication solution and discuss potential collaboration between the two companies.

During the visit, the representatives were particularly impressed by the technology’s ability to reliably transmit FHD-quality video over distances exceeding 3 kilometers. Following the demonstration, both parties agreed to install the TVWS solution at the S1 Talent Development Center and conduct a Proof of Concept (POC) to assess its practical applications.

This collaboration represents a significant step toward advancing wireless communication technologies and underscores both companies’ commitment to innovation.
